STEWARDSHIP

My brothers and sisters, all of us are called to stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. Every human person has been made to know, love and serve God and our neighbor, here and everywhere. As baptized Christians, we are called to unite with Jesus Christ in spreading the Kingdom of God and sharing in God's work of creation, redemption, and sanctification. Those of us who are Catholics know that stewardship is an essential, integral part of our Christian life. It is a way of life. It is more than concern for money, our treasure. It also includes more than full use of time and talent. It covers our responsibility for all of God's gifts.

In a special way, all of us need to take responsibility for the education and formation of our future priests and for the spiritual renewal of men already ordained. This means taking responsibility for what happens here at St. Patrick's Seminary. If we are to be successful in preparing faithful stewards of God's Word, stewards of the Lord's Table, and stewards of the Community of the Faithful, those of us here at St. Patrick's cannot stand alone. We clearly need your gifts of time, talent, and treasure, and, above all, we need your spiritual energy, the inner life-force that animates your generous use of the gifts you have received from God Here are ways to help: You can see from the contents of this website that ours is a rich and holy mission and, at the same time, a calling marked by challenge and special urgency. We need you. We cannot do this work alone.
