Please join us to celebrate St. Patrick’s Four Pillars Gala honoring the Oblate Sisters of Jesus the Priest. This event will be held at St. Patrick’s and will directly fund the mission of the seminary: to prepare holy men for priesthood; to encourage and strengthen brother priests through ongoing education and formation; and to help permanent deacons and lay leaders in the Church to achieve their God-given call in life.

During the past four years, St. Patrick’s community has grown each year. Our total number of seminarians this year, including those on Pastoral Year, was 95. If this increase continues, we will need more rooms to house all of our seminarians. Although a great problem to have, it requires planning for growth.  We also continue to improve our programmatic offerings for the ongoing education and formation of priests. It is wonderful to see the collaboration occurring between the Vatican II Institute and the Seminary. In light of this tremendous growth, we are hoping to construct new buildings for continuing education, which, ultimately, will also provide additional space for more seminarians.

The mission of St. Patrick’s Seminary & University is a profound and far-reaching one on many levels. More than ever, we need Church leaders who can speak with compassion to the loneliness and stress of the times, who can bring the life-giving peace and grace to all of God’s people.  St. Patrick’s is committed to prepare such spiritual leaders, but we cannot do it alone. We rely on the prayers and financial assistance of our Catholic community.
