DESCRIPTION:Please join us to celebrate St. Patrick’s Four Pillars Gala h
 onoring the Oblate Sisters of Jesus the Priest. This event will be held at
  St. Patrick’s and will directly fund the mission of the seminary: to pr
 epare holy men for priesthood\; to encourage and strengthen brother priest
 s through ongoing education and formation\; and to help permanent deacons 
 and lay leaders in the Church to achieve their God-given call in life.\nDu
 ring the past four years\, St. Patrick’s community has grown each year. 
 Our total number of seminarians this year\, including those on Pastoral Ye
 ar\, was 95. If this increase continues\, we will need more rooms to house
  all of our seminarians. Although a great problem to have\, it requires pl
 anning for growth.  We also continue to improve our programmatic offering
 s for the ongoing education and formation of priests. It is wonderful to s
 ee the collaboration occurring between the Vatican II Institute and the Se
 minary. In light of this tremendous growth\, we are hoping to construct ne
 w buildings for continuing education\, which\, ultimately\, will also prov
 ide additional space for more seminarians.\nThe mission of St. Patrick’s
  Seminary &amp\; University is a profound and far-reaching one on many lev
 els. More than ever\, we need Church leaders who can speak with compassion
  to the loneliness and stress of the times\, who can bring the life-giving
  peace and grace to all of God’s people.  St. Patrick’s is committed 
 to prepare such spiritual leaders\, but we cannot do it alone. We rely on 
 the prayers and financial assistance of our Catholic community.\nIn order 
 for us to continue to strengthen our formation programs\, we invite you to
  lend support as a sponsor for a seminarian or to attend our 2010 Four Pil
 lars Gala. This annual fundraising event promises to be even better than e
 ver as it takes place\, for the first time\, on our own campus.\nFor more
