This photo, taken at last night's spectacular Mass and banquet/fundraiser sponsored by our generous Vietnamese community, shows that it was truly a family affair.

The Mass was celebrated by San Jose Auxiliary Bishop Tom Daly. The overall event was inspired by Fr. (Cha) Vincent Doan Bui, our Dean of Student Affairs and a spiritual leader to the Vietnamese Catholic community and indeed to us all.

Behind the scenes was our benefactress Trina Phan Vu--who coordinated many details including the sumptuous meal and magnificent flowers.

We don't have a total yet for the amount of money raised, but we received four generous gifts dedicated to the purchase of four digital blackboards--a.k.a. smartboards.
