Vietnamese_Fundraiser-2011-2On May 7, 2011 over 230 guests filled St. Patrick's Seminary & University for the 2ND Annual Vietnamese Fundraising Dinner.  The night started with a magnificent concert in the Main Chapel, with Father Paul Maillet, S.S. performing works of Schumann, Brahms, Chopin and others at the piano followed by the Seminary Schola Cantorum who performed two pieces composed by Sir John Rutter (Lord Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace, and Lux Aeterna from the Requiem Mass in honor of Vietnamese supporter Peter Van Dinh Le). Pictured here is Seminarian and artist Peter Nguyen who donated several of his paintings including this one titled Madona and Child.

After guests enjoyed the magical recital in the Chapel they were lead to the main dining hall where an 8 course meal, music, and an auction awaited them.  It was a truly wonderful evening that raised substantial and much needed funds to assist in the formation of priests.
