The Seminary Faculty gathered this evening with the 4th year theology class in an informal setting to tell stories of their time at St. Patrick's together and to say goodbye. Although the community as a whole, will honor the deacon class on Friday, May 6th at graduation, vespers and the closing banquet, tonight's dinner follows a wonderful tradition of honoring the men who are about to be ordained to the priesthood, celebrating as they do, with their professors and formators. Pictured here is Deacon Duy Le (Diocese of Orange) singing a song he had composed in honor of his class and the call of God to holy friendship. He will perform the piece once again at the closing banquet. Duy_Song

Luke 24: 1-8
At daybreak on the first day of the week they took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb; but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were puzzling over this, behold, two men in dazzling garments appeared to them. They were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground. They said to them, "Why do you seek the living one among the dead? He is not here, but he has been raised. Remember what he said to you while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners and be crucified, and rise on the third day." And they remembered his words.

Blessings to all of our community on this most glorious feast of Easter! The lenten fast is past and the celebration of the feast begins. May the Risen Lord Jesus Christ fill you in this holy season with peace and that ongoing desire to follow Him ever more closely.
