Before receiving a tour of the Seminary the Cardinal enjoyed lunch with members of the community prepared by the Oblate Sisters. Before his departure to Los Angeles and then Washington, D.C., Â Fr. McKearney thanked His Eminence for gracing the Seminary with his visit and for his generous gift on behalf of the bishops' conference. Cardinal Man, a former seminary rector in Vietnam, was delighted to learn more about priestly formation in the United States and praised the Sulpician Fathers, the faculty, Sisters, seminarians and staff for their outstanding commitment to the Church.
