Continuing Formation from the Beginning is a program designed for recently ordained priests (two-ten years) as they move toward or begin their first assignment as an administrator or pastor. Developed as a program of “proximate preparation for pastorate,” CFB consists of a series of four-day workshops offered each year on a rotating basis, designed to equip a recently ordained priest to assume the responsibilities of a pastor. The 2008 workshop, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, the 2009 workshop, Pastoral Leadership in Multicultural Parishes: Models and Issues, and the 2010 workshop, Church and Culture: Spiritual Leadership for a New Millennium, attracted priests from several dioceses and received enthusiastic reviews from the participants.
