"A Pastoral Think Tank for Priests"
The Vatican II Institute for Cergy Formation is proud to offer, Reclaiming and Renewing Our Mission, June 7—11, 2010. Developed in response to the proclamation of Pope Benedict XVI of the Year for Priests, the workshop is designed to engage priests in exploring the pastoral challenges they face in today’s world and in identifying the resources and choices required to meet those challenges.
The workshop will take the form of a seminar wherein participants will be invited to identify the challenges they encounter as they strive to give and encourage Gospel witness in an increasingly diverse, complex, and secular age.
Topics include:
- The Future of Parishes: Larger or Smaller?
- Engaging Culture: Accommodation or Resistance?
- Responding to the Movement of People, Goods, & Ideas
- Providing Moral Direction and Moral Support
